Shasta Daisy
Daisy is a generic name given to all flowers having a central disc made up of
numerous tiny fertile flowerets surrounded by delicate petals. All through the
year some or the other variety of daisies are flowering. The snow-white petals
of the Shasta daisy bloom from early summer until fall. Shasta daisies need a
well-drained soil and plenty of sun. Stake the taller plants. After the first
frost, cut back the stems.
